We have always asked ourselves a lot of questions about the existing guitar and bass tuners on the market: Why can I only find tuner sets for 6- or 7-string guitars, even though there have also been 8-, 9- and 10-string guitars for many years? -string guitars exist? Likewise with bass guitars. Why can't I find any suitable sets for the correct arrangement of the tuners on the headstock of my guitar? Why do I have to buy two sets or even all the mechanics individually - if I'm lucky and they can even be bought individually? Why is there so little choice of buttons and why are there so few designs? And above all, why do many manufacturers these days care little to nothing about our environment?

That's exactly what we asked ourselves over and over again for many years and then founded Guitar Monkey in 2021. We are a small family business from Dachau near Munich, in the heart of Bavaria. We have been passionate musicians and enthusiastic technicians for almost 20 years and therefore know the needs of guitarists. With many years of professional experience working for a Bavarian premium automobile manufacturer, we know that product quality and design means more than just producing excellent products - it means passion for what you do! For us, it was long past time to use our know-how to give the market what we and many guitarists themselves have been missing for a long time:
